Slice Adventures' "By-the-Slice" Cycling Philosophy
For us, every journey is a mix of emotions, experiences and discoveries. Like a pizza cut into slices, our tours are made up of different ingredients: cycling, hiking, culture and gastronomy. Each element enriches the experience and leaves a unique taste.
Our cycling and walking holidays are mainly based in and around Siena. Along the way you will discover some of Tuscany’s true gems, including San Gimignano, Volterra, Monteriggioni, Pienza, Montalcino, the Chianti region, the Val d’Orcia and much more.
Choose how you want to experience them: independently or with a guide, with extra activities or simply focusing on cycling.

Francesco Salto
Founder
Francesco was born and lives in Siena, where he has always cultivated his passion for cycling and outdoor life.
In 1999 he turned this passion into his profession, helping Rossano develop the city’s first bicycle rental service.
Rossano Galluzzi
Founder
Rossano was born and lives in Siena, where he has always cultivated his passion for mechanics and for the world of bicycles. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he has competed in both cycling and in motocross and enduro racing.
In 1985 he opened his bicycle shop and workshop in Siena, which over the years has become a reference point for many cycling enthusiasts. Since 1999 he has been working alongside Francesco, and together they continue to manage bike rentals and organize cycling tours in Tuscany.

Giacomo
Operations manager/Guida
Giacomo was born and raised in Siena, where cycling is part of everyday life. After spending several years focused on other sports, he returned to his great passion for cycling around the age of thirty.
Today he guides cyclists from all over the world along Tuscany’s famous white roads and gravel routes, sharing his love for the region and for outdoor cycling experiences.
Michela
Booking coordinator/Guida
Michela is Italian but was born and raised in Eswatini, in Africa, and speaks both English and Italian fluently. Her passion for cycling began in 2009 through triathlon.
Over the years she has taken part in several international competitions, including the Ironman World Championship in Kona. Today she guides cycling tours and also takes care of trip organization and communication with guests.
Ingo
Tour designer/Guida
Ingo, born in Germany and living in Italy for many years, specializes in designing tailor-made journeys and organizing both guided and self-guided cycling tours.
A tour leader and certified MTB guide, he has an in-depth knowledge of Tuscany and enjoys introducing travelers to its landscapes, history and local culture, convinced that the bicycle is the best way to truly experience a place.

The project is built on many years of experience in cycling tourism, spent exploring roads, trails, hills and villages, developing a deep knowledge not only of the most famous routes but also of hidden ones, often far from the maps and capable of offering more genuine experiences.
The search for new itineraries is constant. The goal is to bring travelers to places that truly represent the region, away from the busiest routes, where landscape, history and everyday life come together. Living here all year round allows us to understand the rhythms, traditions and culture of the territory, elements that naturally become part of each journey, together with the discovery of local cuisine and regional products.
Another distinctive aspect is the direct management of every part of the trip. Bicycles, support vans, guides and tour organization are all part of the Slice Adventures team. This allows us to take care of every detail and ensure a high level of quality throughout the experience. At the same time, our tours remain flexible and customizable, adapting to the needs, level and interests of every traveler.
